Note: Pay Later messaging requires a PayPal integration. To integrate Salesforce Commerce Cloud with PayPal, use the Salesforce Commerce Cloud PayPal plugin. Ensure that your PayPal plugin is v20.1.2 or later and that the Salesforce Commerce Cloud SFRA version is v4.4.1 or later.This example shows Pay Later messaging and a Pay Later button on a webpage.
Note: If you enable billing agreements in Salesforce Commerce Cloud, Pay Later messaging banners won’t appear on affected webpages.
Eligibility
US-based consumers are eligible for Pay Later offers across most PayPal integrations. As a merchant, you’re eligible to promote Pay Later offers if you are based in the US with a US-facing website and a one-time payment integration. Promoting Pay Later offers is not available if you’re using vaulted payments or subscriptions.Enable the messaging and button
Before you begin, you must install the Salesforce Commerce Cloud PayPal plugin.- Log into your Salesforce admin portal.
- From Business Manager, select Merchant Tools > Site Preferences > Custom Preferences.

To edit the group preferences for the new custom group, find PayPal Credit Messaging, and select View.

To display Pay Later messaging on cart pages, select Yes for Show credit message on the cart page.
- Indicate whether to display Pay Later messaging on PDP or category pages using those options.
