Eligibility
US-based consumers are eligible for Pay Later offers across most PayPal integrations. As a merchant, you’re eligible to promote Pay Later offers if you are based in the US with a US-facing website and a one-time payment integration. Promoting Pay Later offers is not available if you’re using vaulted payments or subscriptions.Enable the messaging
Pay Later messaging is enabled for new OpenCart merchants. Existing merchants need to manually enable the messaging. To enable and customize Pay Later messaging:- Log into your OpenCart admin portal.
- Go to Extensions > Extensions > Payments > PayPal Checkout Integration (Highly Recommended) > Edit.
- Select the Pay Later Messaging tab within the extension.
- Select the checkboxes to enable or disable Pay Later messaging on each page.
- Use the dropdown menus to customize and preview the messaging style.
- Select Save.
