Requirements for a product catalog
Provide your product catalog in a Google Shopping CSV format file. In this file, include all relevant product attributes, such as the ones in the following table.| Attribute | Description | Example |

Supported catalog ingestion methods
PayPal supports different ingestion methods for fetching product catalogs from merchants. Choose the approach that most closely fits with your infrastructure and security requirements.Your SFTP/FTP server
- Host the files on your SFTP/FTP server.
- Share your access credentials and path details with your PayPal account representative or designated point of contact.
- Update the files on a regular basis.
Direct URL
- Host product catalog directly on a publicly accessible or allowlisted URL.
- File URLs must follow a consistent naming scheme, such as
https://merchantsite.com/product_feed.csv. - Ensure that files are accessible using HTTPS.
Finish integrating your product catalog with Store Sync
To finish integrating your product catalog with PayPal’s agentic commerce services, complete these remaining steps:- From the left-side menu in your PayPal business account dashboard, select Business Tools.
- Under Set up and get started, select Store Sync.
- On Store Sync, select Get Started. The Store Sync status changes as you go through the setup process. Store Sync stores your changes, so you can return later if your setup is interrupted.
- In your settings for Store Sync, complete these steps:
- Confirm your store information.
- Set up your API. For information about setting up your API, see Set up your API.
- Verify your setup.
- Choose and confirm the ingestion method that you will use.
- Share access details (credentials, service account IDs, URLs, and so on) with PayPal’s onboarding team.
- Provide a sample product catalog for validation.
- Coordinate a test ingestion run with PayPal’s engineering team.
Become discoverable
After you complete your catalog setup and integration, the next step is to make your products discoverable to AI agents, so customers can find your products through conversational interfaces with AI agents. To become discoverable, in your Store Sync settings, in AI platforms sharing your catalog, use the toggles to select AI platforms with which to share your catalog.Note: The default behavior is to opt in to sharing with all available platforms.
